So I have been totally lazy lately. I can't seem to get up the energy to do a good post on here between being sick recently, starting back at work and school I have been putting this on the back burner. So not good. So lets catch everyone up shall we.
Knitting
I finished the news boy cap from the SnB nation book. Its really easy and fairly cute. I think the next time I make it I'll make the back a bit longer so I can install a snap and snap it down to the brim more like an actual news boy cap since... well mine kind of looks like an equestrian riding helemet more than a news boy cap. I still wear it and get compliments though.
Still working on jesse's scarf. I need to finish that. Sigh. I have a request for a beenie from my friend in Tulsa, Viet. So i need to make that. Finish my brother Paul's gloves while its still cold here and then I have to get going on a baby outfit for David. (Barbrah came in and gave me a copy of the cutest little baby outfit and I really have to make it). Then I have to get going on my stash since I'm starting to get a bit of a build up (I'm not a big collector of yarn or I try not to be...since I have no where to put it and I hate to waste it). So thats never good.
At work we got in new pattern books. I am doomed. And then there are these new yarns and all these other scrumptious things to look at that people bring in. For example a woman came in today to get help on a sweater she is doing (this is her first kniting project ever and she's starting with a sweater very brave) she had the most lovely looking yarn. It was Noro. It was black with a thread wrapping around it in rainbow vargation. Lovely. Although I often wonder if I'd like knitting with Noro since it always feels so course to me.

Other stuff
My car broke down this week. Lots of fun there. I hope it gets better soon cause well I love the clunker even if it is getting kind of worn around the edges. Ok very worn but still. So I get to drive the PT cruiser till it is repaired. This is nice since it's new and has a cd player. So I have been having fun rocking out in my car (think VH1's motormouth show).

School is going good. I love my art history class though that might change after the first test which is coming up next week. Gack! hehe. Yoga is great I totally missed doing it when wasn't. I'm not as flexible but I'll get back to where I was. I have been doing crunchies every now and then at home to try to help me get back in shape.
Speech class is easy but annoying because i have to go do all this planning and research. Blah on that. I think I can start knitting in his class though... which means I'll allow myself to not get frustrated with the research aspect of the class.
Photoshop is easy and fun too. Though I have to plan things around it since I don't have the Photoshop program they want. I have 7 and they want PS. Ya silly but what can ya do?

I'm sad because I don't think I'llbe able to finish my softie for this month and I was so close. I just don't have any time and its due on the 31st. Sigh. Poor softie.
Maybe I can get it done. We'll see.

I'm designing a picture for my friend Mike to paint on his car. He wants a pin up riding a bomb (big WWII history fan). So that should be fun.

I have the Valentines all designed and ready to be printed at Kinko's so I need to go do that... maybe tomorrow so I can get them in the mail monday.

I got my Secret Pal. Super exciting. Looking forward to getting to know her. She seems really cool. And I got contacted by my Secret Pal. She seems really nice. She also does Yoga. So two new friends. Very exciting.

GaCk

I have been in absolute whirl wind of self caused stress. I hate when I do this. What is this you might ask. Well this is when I get so worried about things that I get super tense (couldn't think of another word for it) and I get all scatter brained and disorganized. I mean really disorganized. For example In December I had everything going amazingly. I knew what was going on when, I had tons of projects going (knitting, embrodery and other wise) and felt on top of my game. This month... I am a mess I can barely rememeber what time my classes are, when they are, when I work, I am working on two measly little projects that should take no time at all and what is going on... I am stuck half way through both. How silly is that? I am constantly running late, looking terrible and generally being emotional and stupid. I can't believe I can't get things organized. I am hoping that it'll go back to the way it was in December where my productivity and being on time and time managed were awesome. Sigh some day soon.

In other news I was horribly sick yesterday. Honestly it was awful and of course today I am just all back to normal. 24 hour flus suck. You don't even get to enjoy being sick... which yes I realize is a sick concept but when you have a24 hour flu all you do is throw up and sleep and feel to weak to do anything while with most other illnesses you at least get to do some knitting or embrodery and watch a movie with out dying. No sense in complaining now that I'm better. Well I'm off to knit tomorrow is my day off woot woot. Knitting here I come.

Hello,
Live journal is back up. Thank goodness.
I am happy to report that I am using my christmas present to type this. I got a laptop for Christmas from my dad so that my brothers and I wouldn't have to fight for the other computers. hehe no its his old one actually but he doesn't need it anymore so he gave it to me as a Christmas present. Always nice though.
I changed my background image. Its just for fun since I still haven't figured out how to do everything I want to do yet. I am taking a web design class though as we speak so I hope by the end of this semester I'll be able to make and maintain wonderful beautiful blogs. Sniff. Dreaming***
Till then though. I'll do little updates. So heres the new background image. hehe. its amusing. Black Sheep Comic

Other news. well Today was a crazy day at work. It was so busy and there were so many people who wanted help with knitting problems. I love helping people with knitting problems I think its fun to learn the new things taht it forces me to learn about knitting. I found my first crochete project that I am going to do. Its just a single crochete pattern but the yarn you use makes it look so much more complicated and awesome. Its on a size K needle. So that is exciting me. Another exciting event... wait for it... My mom figured out double knitting the thing I have been trying to figure out with no sucess for weeks (my mom is so amazing like that) So I can finally do that space inavders scarf for my brother.
So hurray hurray. I really aught to wait on it but Amber wanted to learn how to do it too so I'll learn and start this scarf so I can teach her. woot woot. I need to sit down tomorrow and have a massive knit out. Finish Jesse's scarf, get the back pannel of the Erin sweater really going, ect ect...
I hope this week is a pay week. I could use it. I'm down to less than 10 in my account. I really need to call Mikie. Miss him
Well I think that about covers it.
Went to see John William's works preformed this evening with my brother, Christian. John William is the composer who did the music to Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Catch me if you can, Amistad, E.T., and a ton of others. So that was awesome. There was the cutes little old man who was so excited the whole time about the orchestra playing Williams songs. I loved him for it. he was just so adoring of this profound music it was joyful to watch. Ok well I'm really done updating for now.

Hello
Lets see...
Knitting News
I am totally in love with the new Vogue Knitting magazine. I want to make pretty much everything but especially these two

I have been working on my Erin sweater without sucsess, keep doing silly little stupid stuff. Same with the garter belt that I'm knitting from the free yarn from Jill. Keep making silly mistakes. I am doing really well with Jesse's second scarf. Its almost half way done. I'm posting a pic in a hot second. Anything else... hmmm... I feel like there is but I can't think of what it would be. Oh I know. I signed up for Knittapolluza II. I am doing the full thing and working at the stand that the shop is gonna have. So that will be cool. Very exciting even if it isn't til March.

Other news
I figured out what I am going to do for this months softies. Its my first time participating so I am excited. Tomorrow I should have the time to finish it. Woot woot but I'll post the pics of what i got so far. The theme this month is vintage catwalk.
I got a raise at work and I have been working three days a week regularlly so thats nice. Love working as a yarn slave its the best job in the world I swear.
Started school back up. All my teachers and classes are cool. I have a feeling the hardest will be my photoshop and art history classes. Photoshop due to the fact I have to modivate myself and art history because there is so much you have to remember. But I think I'll make it. prioritize.
uh what else. Been chilling with amber. yup I think that covers it.
nite nite
